*We walk through the parking lot into the mall entrance. Kevin and I ran into his friend once we entered.* Kevin: Hey Dylan! I see you're with Veronica. Dylan: Yup. Who's this? Kevin: Oh... Umm... this is Elizabeth: Nick's... friend... Dylan: Oh, cool. You guys wanna hang out with us? I'm taking Veronica to Hollister. Kevin: Sure... We were heading down there too... for Lizzy's birthday. Dylan: Oh, happy birthday! How old are you? Kevin: Oh... she's 15... Right Elizabeth? (nudges) Elizabeth: Yeah... Dylan: Cool. Let's go. Kevin: Um... We'll meet you there in a couple minutes... Elizabeth: (waits for Dylan and Veronica to walk away) What's the matter? Kevin: It's just, Dylan is 17, like me, and Veronica is 17. If Dylan found out I was dating a 12 year old... well, he wouldn't like me anymore. Elizabeth: Why would you think that? And you're 16... Kevin: Close enough. I just... don't know. C'mon, let's go shopping. Elizabeth: (sighs) Fine. (follows Kevin down to Hollister where Dylan and Veronica are outside.) Veronica: Um... Kevin and Dylan, why don't you two go shopping for boy stuff while we get what we need here. Kevin: Sure. (hands me 100 dollars) Here's this. If you need more, call me. Elizabeth: Thanks. Dylan: (hands Veronica 100 dollars) Here ya go. I'm not sure I have so much left, so whatever. Veronica: Kk. *The boys walk away talking. Me and Veronica walk into Hollister. The music was bursting. Then I heard something familiar...* Radio: We have a very special guest today on HotSpot 101.3 radio. This young gentleman is releasing a record in about a month. Here is, Nick Jonas! Hello Nick. I hear it's your birthday today! Nick: That's correct, sir. It's also my best friend's birthday. I love her so much, I even wrote a song for. This song, "Please Be Mine", well be released on my self-titled record. Here it goes. (sings "Please Be Mine") That was for you, Elizabeth. I know that Kevin was taking you to Hollister, and I know they played this station, so I arranged with Jerry to get me on here. Jerry: As Nick's agent, I do the best for him. Radio: Well thank you very much, Nichalos! Nick: Thank you for having me! One more shout out: Kevin, you are the best brother. Even if you are stealing my girl, I love you. And I hope it shows that you are the best big brother a kid could ever ask for. Elizabeth: (jaw drops) Veronica: Hey... isn't Nick Kevin's brother? And aren't you Elizabeth? Elizabeth: (mouth still open and nods) Veronica: OMG! I get it now! Elizabeth: (thinking: Good job! Now I see why they call blondes "dumb") Well... one that note... Let's start shopping! * Me and Veronica found a whole bunch of cute clothes. I got some dressy stuff and a dress for tonight. Kevin was taking me out to dinner at my favorite resteraunt: Applebee's. I was super excited! The dress I chose wasn't from Hollister. We went over to Aeropostale because they were having a sale. The dress was green and white striped and short sleve. I also got a white headband with a bow on the side, which was green. I decided that I could just where my white Converse. Veronica took me to go find the boys. They were a small pretzel store.* Kevin: Can I get preztel sticks and a cup of cheese on the side? Oh, and a Diet Coke too, please. Cashier: Coming right up. And for you, sir? Dylan: Just an unsalted pretzel, please. Cashier: Of course. Be right back. (comes back with the food) That'll be 7.99 please. Kevin: (hands him money) Cahsier: Have a nice day! Elizabeth: (sits down at the table the boys were at with Veronica) Hey! Kevin: Hey! (notices the bags) Looks like you guys have done your shopping! Elizabeth: Yessir! And I got a dress for tonight. Kevin: Ohhhhhh! Let me see! Elizabeth: Nope :] Kevin: C'mon! Please! Elizabeth: Guess you're gonna have to wait until tonight... (her voice got higher with each word) Kevin: Fine. (looks at his watch) Okay, I made reservations for 5:30... and it's 2:45. I'll take you home in about an hour and we can both get ready. But for the hour, I saw a big "play thing" and there's an inside theme park. Right, Dylan? Dylan: Totally! It was huge! Veronica: Well why are we just sitting here? Let's go! * We all walked past all the stores. As we got closer, the boys covered our eyes and helped us walked. Once there hands slipped away, our jaws dropped.* Elizabeth: Oh Veronica: My E&V: Gosh! Elizabeth: This place is amazing! Kevin: (smiles)I know! There was a lazer tag place and I was just thinking... Elizabeth: (looks at him) OMG! Yes! Kevin: Great! We'll do a couples tournement. We call green! Veronica: Fine. Me and Dylan well be... red. Dylan: Fine with me. Elizabeth: I'm so excited! (we all ran into the place. Everything was free, so we went staright to the lazer tag station. Me and Kevin put on our vests while Dylan and Veronica put on theirs. Inside the track was over sized. it was pitch black, except for the neon-green lights that bordered around it.)
